Unfortunately not. However, the prescriptions, orders, referrals, labs, and imaging that we order can be billed through your regular insurance, like normal. The reason is because insurances:
- Force me to hire extra employees, increasing the cost of services for patients
- Require me to perform unnecessary tasks, wasting the patient’s and my time
- Compel me to turn over office visit notes, even if I don’t order any tests, labs, or imaging
- Dictate what I can or can’t do during an office visit, taking autonomy away from the patient
Absolutely. And we’d love to be your provider.
In addition to expanded access to your provider, you get:
The price includes the evaluation and treatment for that visit (any prescriptions sent in, laboratory tests faxed, or imaging orders faxed that day) plus any care related to the original visit for 48 hours thereafter.
Besides the convenient appointment times, upfront price transparency, and ability to perform whatever needs to be done at the time of the appointment without any red tape. We have purposely kept the patient enrollment smaller so as to be able to take more time with our patients, personally arrange for anything our patients need/want (like specialist appointments), and be more available to quickly accomplish any tasks they need (filling out paperwork like FMLA, return to work notes, and medical exemptions).
We have most supplies found in urgent cares, so we can:
- perform strep, flu, urinalysis, rapid drug screens, and COVID-19 tests, so there is no need for extra steps after the visit.
- suture or staple lacerations
- provide wound care and minor surgical procedures
- perform nebulizer treatments to improve breathing
- administer IV antibiotics or medications (for nausea)
- provide you with a supply of the commonly prescribed medications, during the visit so that you can avoid going to the pharmacy, if you so choose.
We will only refer a patient to someone else under three circumstances: the specialist knows something we don’t, can do something we can’t, or the patient requests it. We were trained to be full spectrum family practitioners, so we want to provide the most that we can for my patients without the cost, stress, and time it takes to see a specialist.
We aren't able to take any new patients at this time; please check back as we will provide updates when we can. Thank you, Jason
